They STILL Do.

We’re BAAAACK Y’ALL!! It’s been forever and a day since I’ve written a blog post, but after this amazingly flawless vow renewal, let’s just say I was INSPIRED. Also, let’s be honest, this was NO ORDINARY vow renewal! Holy Gorgeousness!! When my dear friend, Vanessa called me this past January to tell me about her plans and ideas for an epic 10 year vow renewal and that she wanted me to be there to document, I (cried a little lol) and happily told her I was in!

Our connection goes back almost all of those 10 years of their wonderful marriage…starting with a family session all those years ago with tons of extended family and kiddos. That day was pretty magical 😉

Over the years, we’ve done many family sessions…and their extended family has grown and more kiddos were born and the memories kept adding up. I consider them my family at this point and honestly, I’ve loved watching their love grow and their girls grow up all the while.

There’s a phrase that goes something like… “If you’re lucky enough to have (insert whatever word you’d like here 😉 , then you’re lucky enough”

That cold April day in Shelbyville, Kentucky, I know that they are not only lucky, but blessed indeed. The INCREDIBLE love of their family and friends that surround them is something else. Thank you for including me in your journey and being amazing (and picking me up for the airport at 4am!! 🙂

The walls don’t fall when the bones are good… and Vanessa & Greg are the epitome of just that.
